On February 3, members of the Saeima faction of the NEW UNITY (Jaunā Vienotība) visited the ISSP UL.
The ISSP UL’s Director, Dr. phys. Andris Anspoks acquainted the politicians with the institute’s history, current issues, research directions, and plans in the context of scientific excellence, research excellence and commercialization of discoveries.
During the visit, the guests had the opportunity to visit ISSP UL’s laboratories, getting to know their state-of-the-art and unique equipment and meeting with the heads of the laboratories and researchers to learn interesting facts about the discoveries and research carried out at the institute.
