Journey of excellence - evaluating CAMART2 progress at ISSP UL

On April 10 and 11, the EC experts visited the ISSP UL to evaluate the CAMART2 progress so far. It was a great pleasure to welcome the evaluators, as the previous on-site visit took place in October 2022.
The EC experts assessed qualitative and quantitative indicators essential for the project’s successful implementation. The EC experts’ team listened to the progress report presentations given by each of the WP leaders and visited several laboratories, such as the Laboratory of Thin Films and the Laboratory of Optical Materials.

LUMDETR 2024
June 16-21
On June 16-21, the 12th International Conference on Luminescent Detectors and Transformers of Ionizing Radiation, organized by ISSP UL, will be held in Riga, Latvia.
This conference provides an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of the latest developments in basic and applied research in the field of radioluminescence, the processes of energy transfer and storage in solid state systems, the physics and chemistry of luminescent phosphor and scintillation materials, and related applications.
Invited lectures will be given by leading scientists to introduce the main topics of the conference.
